Welcome!
Welcome!

After 20-plus years working as a visual arts instructor, I moved to the Seattle, Washington area, where I have been dedicating most of my time to watercolor painting. Much of my artwork has been influenced by the beautiful scenery of the Pacific Northwest.
For me, creating art is a form of story telling. The narrative begins while creating the composition and continues as I work to capture in paint the mood or emotion that first drew me to a subject. I love the challenge of learning something new, and am often attracted to colors interacting with each other, the movement of water, and the way light dances across surfaces.
I hope you enjoy these artworks as much as I enjoyed creating them.
